Listing procedure

Use the listing procedure of whichever mainline the flight is operating as: Alaska (gate, 30 to 60 min prior), American (MyIDTravel, 7 days to 15 min prior), Delta (gate or customer service counter only, 2 hr to 30 min prior), or United (gate only, 60 to 10 min prior). Check in at the gate, preferably at least 30 min prior; agents should try to accommodate up to 15 min prior or flight close-out, whichever is later. Passport / ID requirements

Standard CASS credentials. Reciprocal agreement required. Delta flights also want a second government ID.

Dress code

Uniform or business casual. No jeans or tennis shoes. Beard rules follow the operating brand.

Carrier-specific quirks

  • Part 121 regional flying E170/E175 and CRJs for Alaska, American, Delta, and United.
  • CASS cockpit access may be limited to the mainline partner's authorized user list: a CASS agreement with SkyWest alone will not get you the cockpit on a United Express flight without a CASS agreement with United too.
  • No international cockpit jumpseat.
  • Policy last updated 2/9/2020.
