Listing procedure

Passenger flights follow the United procedure: no pre-listing, check in with the gate agent or ticket counter; OAL check-in opens no earlier than 1 hr prior, see the United entry for the cutoff. Cargo (DHL) flights: call Mesa SOC at 602-685-4311 to list, 4 hr to 60 min prior, with flight number, departure and arrival cities, employee number, and your company designation code; then check in with the Captain at the station 45 min prior. Routes: United app for passenger, FlightAware for DHL.

Passport / ID requirements

Airline ID, airman certificate, and medical. Reciprocal agreement required. Cargo jumpseaters are CASS verified by the Captain.

Dress code

Uniform or proper business attire. No beards (follows United).

Carrier-specific quirks

  • Part 121 passenger (CRJ900, E175 as United Express) and Part 121 cargo (B737F for DHL).
  • Space available, unlimited riders in the cabin; flight deck jumpseat for CASS-authorized pilots.
  • Passenger priority: Mesa pilots by seniority, United pilots by seniority, United Express exclusive carriers per the UAL/UAX agreement, then OAL by gate check-in time.
  • Cargo priority: Mesa by seniority, then OAL by time of listing with SOC.
  • No international cockpit jumpseat.
