Jumpseat Suspended

SUSPENDED (as of Sep 10, 2026): 21 Air, operating cargo flights for Amazon Air, has suspended all offline jumpseating. The airline has given no timeline as to when the suspension will be lifted.

Listing procedure

Apply at www.21air.us/jumpseat at least 24 hours prior to the desired flight. Complete, sign, and email the PDF jumpseat application to soc@21air.us and tapajumpseat@21air.us. Requests with less than 24 hours may be accommodated with no less than four (4) hours' notice, provided a seat is available and the flight is still scheduled to operate. No phone calls to list.

Passport / ID requirements

Standard CASS credentials (company ID, certificate, medical). Reciprocal jumpseat agreement required. Check in with SOC, then at the station or aircraft with the loadmaster or Captain.

Dress code

Uniform or business casual. Beards are acceptable provided they are neatly trimmed.

Carrier-specific quirks

  • Part 121 cargo carrier flying B757 and B767 for Amazon and DHL.
  • Reciprocal jumpseat agreement required.
  • No international cockpit jumpseat offered.
  • SOC will direct you to where the aircraft is parked.
  • In CVG, flight sheets are by the door to the aircraft shuttle vans.
